This is the inaugural year of this award, which focuses on those companies making a positive impact in Texas. The Inclusive Economy Consortium (IEC), SMU Hunter & Stephanie Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity, and their partners launched the Texas Impact Enterprise Awards to recognize the progress that entities across sectors are making toward climate-smart inclusive economic development across the state of Texas. The Awards shine a spotlight on the heart of social and environmental impact leaders in the state. Nominees are organizations that are considered most likely to impact over a million people within 3 years.
