Karen Martin is a Financial Advisor for ANBTX Investment Services. She brings 30+ years of knowledge and planning experience in the financial services industry to her current role. She has the ability to work with an array of products and strategies allowing her to create a portfolio and financial investment program ideally suited for each client.
Karen is dedicated to understanding the needs of her clients and preparing them for the future no matter what stage of life they may find themselves. When asked about her philosophy to investing, Karen says, “My strength is in intentionally developing great and lasting relationships with my clients. I believe that people do business with people. From there, I work to develop a straightforward and personalized plan for steady growth to keep them in their comfort zone and accomplish their financial and personal goals.” She adds, “My passion is helping people work toward achieving their goals with confidence and understanding.”
Early in her career, Karen worked as an investment liaison where her responsibility was to work to develop and strengthen relationships among local and regional banks. After a few years, she transitioned into a full service broker where she worked extensively with stocks, bonds and options. She later started working within the bank, eventually working with 15 branches. In her current role, she is able to confidently help streamline the investing process because of her versed experience in planning and investments.
Outside of work, Karen is active in her community. She is a member of both the Midlothian Panther Regiment Boosters and the Midlothian Soccer Boosters. She has been active with Junior Achievement of the Chisolm Trail where she enjoyed teaching elementary school children about business and finance. Karen attends the Community of Hope Church in Mansfield, Texas where she is a frequent vocalist with the Community of Hope band. Her hobbies include traveling, singing, reading and spending time with her family. She resides with her husband and their five children in Midlothian.
