American National Bank of Texas Promotes Tori Lucas to Vice President of Commercial Lending and Acknowledges Scholarship Award

Dallas, Texas – American National Bank of Texas is proud to announce the promotion of Tori Lucas to vice president of commercial lending at the Terrell Banking Center. She has been with ANBTX since January of 2008. In addition to her promotion, Lucas has been awarded the James B. Gardner Commerce Street Capital Scholarship by the SW Graduate School of Banking. This prestigious grant, awarded on the basis of merit and leadership, is given to second and third year students who best represent the educational ideals of the SW Graduate School of Banking.
“Community banking in my hometown means I get to help customers and businesses I’ve known all my life,” Lucas said. “I take pride in serving my clients, and making Terrell a better place to live and work.”
Lucas earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. She has successfully served numerous industries, including commercial real estate, manufacturing, distribution, construction and healthcare.

Lucas is actively involved in the Terrell community. She is the president of the Kaufman County A&M Club, the director of the Terrell ISD Excellence Foundation, the director of E! Terrell and is a member at Lake Pointe Church. In 2012, she served as the Terrell Chamber of Commerce chair and was the youngest chairperson in the Chamber’s 100-year history.
